#11 of 16 Areas of Believer's Perfection

PERFECT IN FORGIVING OTHERS

 

God provides, calls and enables Christians to be PERFECT IN FORGIVING OTHERS.

 

This article is not a definition or explanation of IN FORGIVING OTHERS. It is simply a statement that God calls and enables us to experience and be perfect IN FORGIVING OTHERS.

 

As with all perfections and graces in the Christian life, it is the redemptive work of God in us that makes it possible to be Perfect IN FORGIVING OTHERS. Being Perfect IN FORGIVING OTHERS is the Christian result of a right relationship to Christ. This is a perfection of quality, not quantity. God's word is our authority.

 

Perfect IN FORGIVING OTHERS

Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

 

DLG notes… Though the word, "perfect" is not used in this verse, it is impossible to forgive more perfectly than FORGIVING EACH OTHER AS GOD FORGIVES US.
