Seek truth from honest, learned, godly, loving, Biblical, Spirit filled, Christ following men of God. Do not trust those who are cultists, or stand against the Bible, the One True God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), full salvation from sin, regardless their demeanor because their foundation is not Jesus or His word. SEEK TRUE BIBLE FAITH.

If your Bible knowledge, your Bible foundation does not lead to holiness of heart and life, then you need to become an actual Bible learner, Bible believer, Bible follower.

The following passages point out that there is a "common salvation," a "faith once delivered to the saints," a "common faith" and a "like precious faith," as well as "things thou has learned and been assured of...," and "All Scripture is given by inspiration and...," and "not cunningly devised fables," and "we have a more sure word of prophecy..." and "no prophecy of Scripture... private interpretation," and "Scripture came by... holy men of God, moved by Holy Spirit." and Peter points out that Paul wrote Scripture, 

(especially notice the portions, which I have designated with an asterisk)

Jude references the "common salvation," and exhorts us to contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints. He warns against the teaching of those who crept into the churches, teaching false doctrines.
Jude 1:3-4
3 Beloved, when *I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should *earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul wrote to Titus concerning God's gift of eternal life, which He communicated through Paul. Paul calls it "the common faith" from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior.
Titus 1:2-4
2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;
4 To Titus, mine own son after *the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Peter acknowledges the "like precious faith" among believers, which comes from God and our Savior Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 1:1-4
1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, *to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Paul warms Timothy that evil men and seducers would continue to get worse, deceiving and being deceived. The protection from these evil seducers would be for the believers to continue in what they had been taught and to remember that all Scripture is inspired by God.
2 Timothy 3:13-17
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14 But *continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 *All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Peter states that our faith, our gospel, our message is not a cunningly devised fable but a sure, certain word of prophecy from God the Father, concerning His Son, Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 1:16-21
16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
19 *We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Peter's confirms Paul wrote Scripture

Those who deliberately kill others. Jesus pointed out that murder can take a spiritual form through hating others. God, through Paul, said that those who commit murder (and other works of the flesh) will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Western (including American) Christianity has been so aligned with human Government that it thinks of the Government as having the right to rule over Christians as part of the Church (following the faulty example of Roman and Reformation religion). This has lured believers into a fallacious view of the kingdom of God and the State.

Some very important issues and doctrines are skewed because of this errant alliance. Some really good things took place through the Reformation, but the idea of Church-State alliances was a continued mistake from Rome, dating back to the time of Constantine.
Lordship of Christ over His Church is not shared with anyone, any ruler, any nation. We are obliged to obey government, as long as the rule of government does not conflict with the Divine revelation of moral behavior.

One of the major mistakes made by Christians is the idea that "Caesar" has absolute or nearly absolute right, authority, power. When the State is not in opposition to God and is not seeking to take the place of God, Christians should obey the State, even when it is inconvenient and uncomfortable. However, the State never has the right to usurp the Rule of Christ over His Church or over His people. 

I have posted articles, which I hope will encourage believers to evaluate their relationship, loyalty, alignment with the worldly State. We need to know that this world is no friend of grace and the State is not God's channel of grace and holiness. The State is God's appointed channel to protect the righteous and punish the wicked. The State may do more than these two things, but the State never has the right to stand against God.

When the State rebels against God's directives for government, then the State has become the anarchist. These articles are consistent with my Biblical position and my teaching throughout the previous 50 years of my ministry.

I am not a Johnny Come Lately in this generation. I have been sounding the alarm concerning the corruption in our society and the Church, here and around the world. I have been telling folks that America (as my generation knew it) has disappeared, leaving only torn remnants behind.

The longer we go in this direction the quicker we are seeing the corruption and collapse of our country and society. Christians better wake up and realize this world is a war zone rather than an amusement park. We have lost most of the children from the past 30 years because of our naivete, our gullibility, our dependence on the State.

I believe we are in the Laodicean Period of Church History. Read the defining characteristics of the end times Church. I don't know when the Rapture will take place or when Jesus will Return, but I know that this passage foreshadows the lost condition of the Church before the Second Coming.

"Caesar" is an anarchist if he "taxes" you in order to murder the unborn, endorse gender bending policies, replace Bible faith with Humanism.

No one is above the law of God. No power is above the power of God. No authority is above the authority of God.

When "Caesar" (the State, the Government) disobeys God's rule over them, then they are committing anarchy. When anyone in a position of authority usurps God's directives for human government, that person is resisting the power, the authority, the rule, the ordinance of God. To resist lawful government, to resist the ordinance of God is anarchy. Individuals, organizations, officials and entire governments can be in anarchy. God will not ignore anyone or any group for usurping His rule, His authority, His power. God will judge and condemn those who resist His power, His ordinance.

It is better to be a so-called "criminal" in the eyes of men than to be an actually anarchist in the eyes of God.

1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

Someone did not see my point of view, so I asked this question.

Actually, in my very next post I address the Romans 13 passage, which refers to our obligation to obey legitimate authority.
I will come back to this, but let me ask you a simple question. If "Caesar" told you to surrender your children for execution because they were Christians, would you "obey Caesar" or not. YES or NO answer. Though you may have more to say, let's keep it simple for the moment. We can elaborate later.

We should be living daily in God's will, following the Holy Spirit, denying self, serving other people, demonstrating the fruit and graces of the Spirit of God in every situation.

If you notice that you have slipped your spiritual moorings, cry out to Christ, reconnect through confession, repentance, faith, obedience, self denial, and following Jesus fully.

Our life is but a vapor. We were not created to fill a personal wish list or follow vain hopes and dreams. We were created for the great and glorious call of walking with Christ, in newness of life. Do not continue in the way of spiritual failure.

If you don't live the life of Christ before your watching and needy loved ones, then who will?

If you don't minister to (serve) your own loved ones, then who will?

If you don't lead your family into a faithful walk with Christ, who will?

Failures and regrets are hard to live with.

When we turn or return to God, He is able to give us victory and hope.

If we refuse to seek the Lord while we can, our failures become irreversible. We can move past to point of no return.

A. Neither.

I use the word "sinning" in the sense of willful disobedience to the known will of God.

"Sin" is a wide ranging term and the verses in the Bible are many and wide ranging. However, the definition I use is legitimate. Therefore, if your view, understanding or main definition differs from this, then you should at least be able to agree that the definition I use is valid, if not complete.

It is in the light of this definition of sin that I say God is able to deliver and actually does deliver us from sinning in this world.

Therefore these components must be present, for us to sin.
The known Law of God.
Deliberate disobedience, rejection, rebellion.

Thanks to 2A folks for protecting U.S. from oppressive, runaway, anti-American forces in society, government and media, before it got bad.

Don't misread this to mean I don't believe in the 2A or to mean that I encourage anyone to take up arms. However, there are people who boast in their arms and their bravado to save America from tyranny, but have not actually done anything to resist or reject oppression. They boast in their patriotism as they eagerly acquiesce to a constant and increasing barrage of anti-American, anti-morality, anti-Christian, anti-family actions and regulations. God does use armed human force to counter armed oppression, but He does not approve of human anger, vengeance or anarchy.

This hypocrisy is highlighted by the fact that the same folks who boast in carnal weapons often ridicule Bible believers who refuse to act violently against other people. God does not give the sword of steel to believers. The New Testament teaches Christians to not take up the sword of steel, but rather to take up the Sword of the Spirit; not to spill the blood of our enemies, but be willing to spill our own blood in service to God.

This is not to be confused with the errant position of Pacifism. The New Testament teaches us that God has given the sword of steel to the State, He has not appointed Christians to engage in carnal warfare or take up carnal weapons against other human beings. Christ's kingdom is not of this world. If His kingdom were of this world, He would have His servants take up carnal weapons against other people.

We must understand that God's purpose for government is different from God's will and purpose for His Church, for His people. God ordains earthly government for the purpose of punishing the wicked and protecting the righteous. God hates anarchy, whether it is in the streets or in the Statehouse. God expects the State to provide military and police for the safety of the citizens. However, God's plan for the world is not the same as His plan for believers. God wants believers to take up the Sword of the Spirit in the battle against darkness. He wants us to serve Him and not the world. He wants us set people free from their spiritual bondage. He wants us to attack the Gates of Hell.

Health, financial, educational, social, religious helps (and dangers) are plenteous online. But a personal relationship with God is found in Jesus and His word. God's connection is always better, certain, guaranteed, supported, virus protected and God keeps us updated as we stay connected.

When we accept and receive Christ as Lord and Savior, we not only have a relationship with God, we are miraculously transformed into new people. We are brought from darkness to light, bondage to freedom, sin to righteousness. We are alive to God, filled with God's Spirit, truth, love, life.

The problem is not with God, but with ourselves. We need to know and accept God's TOS (living, current faith in Christ).
Don't expect to have access to God if you reject God, His will, His authority, His grace.
Access comes through Christ, Who seeks us in order to save us.

We are invited. We are enabled. But salvation is on God's terms, not our own. God's terms are always doable, because God enables us to do His will. God's grace and salvation enables us to keep His commands and to do that which is pleasing in His sight.

Properly understanding Bible languages, translation languages and language arts is essential for translators to communicate God's revelation accurately.

Likewise, Bible readers, students, communicators (teachers and preachers) must understand grammar in order to accurately transmit God's word.

The more you know, the deeper you can go.
The less you know, the slower you should go.

God will lead and feed the least educated, but He does not honor the lazy, self sufficient, "know it all."

The will and work of God is dynamic, complex, glorious. God has plans for individuals, families, churches. God provides for each of these three categories. The sooner and the more consistent we all work together in God's service, the more obvious and abundant God is able to manifest Himself to His children and to the watching world.

But God works in concert with His children. He plans for them before they are born (going all the way back to the Garden, and before). God has a plan for our daily walk and He has a plan for our closing days, leading to His plan for our eternal joy. The more cooperation that we give to God, the more He is able to weave our lives into a miraculous tapestry. Regardless what our church folks do and sometimes in spite of what our family members do, God never leaves nor forsakes us. He is with us, even to the end of the earth... and beyond.

But how much more joy, love, peace, fulfillment we can all receive from Him and share with our loved ones when we all allow God to fill our hearts, our days, our lives as we walk in service to Him and one another?

We either spend our lives in turmoil, chaos, selfishness, robbing and burdening others or we impart to others a little bit of heaven in an otherwise difficult and sorrow filled world.

Live your life in loving subjection to Jesus. Live as His servants to family, loved ones, others. Life has enough evil without us contributing to it. In order to make it to heaven, we need the miracle work of God's salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. We ought to be the vessels through which God enables and blesses others to live their lives, not just somehow, but triumphantly.

Life is only a moment, for all of us. Let us live in such a way that we help others through the dark, difficult times and we help them along their path to eternal life... with God, and hopefully with us and other loved ones.

The word, "Perfectionism," in a discussion about victorious Christian living, usually introduces a Calvinistic false narrative.

This is because folks have confused the concept of "perfectionism" with the Biblical teaching of deliverance, cleansing, salvation from sin by the atoning death and resurrection of Christ.

Those folks have been conditioned to focus on human endeavor rather than Biblical revelation. Those who believe in the atoning, redemptive, saving work of Christ that saves from all sin, seldom use the term "perfectionism," since it is not a term used in the Bible and it does not correctly communicate the doctrine of perfection as it is revealed in the Bible.

Even the more scholarly proponents of Calvinism refuses to accept the clear declaration of God's word and the testimony of God's people, but they choose to use a false narrative concerning Biblical perfection, as it is erroneously by those who choose a human theology rather than God's revelation.

Don't determine whether a Bible doctrine or Divine directive is true, reachable or applicable, based on the observation or evaluation of your own experience in Christ or the experience of another person.

God's word stands, is self supporting, self sufficient and self authenticating.

When God says it, that settles it.

If God says it is, then it is.

If God says it is required, then it is required.

If God says it is possible, then it is possible.

If God says it was, then it was.

If God commands it, then God enables obedience.

If God chooses the words to explain it, then we need to believe, understand, heed God's revelation.

If someone denies, qualifies, redefines God's revelation, seek those who believe what God said.

If you have to explain it away by saying you are unable to do what God's commands, then you need to believe God instead of editing God.

No teacher, preacher, scholar, person, movement or organization has the right to change God's word.

We have to understand God's word in the light of His revelation and we must live according to His will, empowered by His Spirit.

Don't be led astray, by the false teaching of Grudem, MacArthur, Geisler, Sproul, Piper, anyone concerning Biblical Perfection.

JUST READ IT AND HEED IT
* These writers (and others) not only miss the Biblical record, they misrepresent most of the Christians who believe the Biblical record.
* These highly respected teachers attack a Straw Man (actually a poorly constructed Straw Man).
* Then they misinterpret the Biblical passages based on their bias.

I have met many Christians who reject the abundant Biblical revelation and documentation concerning Perfection because they accept the errant position of some "great teacher" or the false foundation of a fallacious theological system.

These men and systems do not accept the Biblical record. They either misrepresent the Biblical passage or they boldly say that God did not mean what He said in the passage. It is a lot like the teachings of cult leaders who say, "Only the Bible is the word of God," then they tell you what the word of God says or means, in spite of what it actually says or means.

Linguistics, Biblical culture and usage of words are important, but we must not disbelieve what the Bible says on this subject (or any other) because "experts" and "authorities" mishandle the word of God or misrepresent a doctrine they dislike.

Remember, the Biblical view of experiential perfection (the perfection that God provides and expects redeemed people to experience) is not:
* Absolute Perfection (only God is absolutely perfect), or * Angelic Perfection (only angels are angelically perfect), or * Adamic Perfection (only Adam was Adamically perfect).

I refer to experiential perfection as:
* Atonement Perfection (Perfection imparted through the salvific work of Christ).
* Believer's Perfection, also called, Christian Perfection (Perfection provided for those who believe in and trust Christ as their Savior from sin).
* Biblical Perfection (Perfection as it is revealed in the Bible).

This Perfection is not unreasonable or unthinkable as long as we understand the passages in the terms God gave them to us.

THE PROBLEM
