THIS IS NOT A FUN READ, BUT IT IS NECESSARY
The time, circumstances and people are different, but the principle of God's sure judgment is applicable to our time, circumstances and people.
I hope you will take time to read these passages from God's word. I hope you will allow God to lead you into the relationship with Himself that He wants you to have.

TIMELESS ACCOUNTABILITY
(read this as if it is speaking about your time and country)
2 Chronicles 36:14-16
14 Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.
15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:
16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

WARNING CONCERNING:
* worthlessness and laziness vss 9-11;
* perverseness, wickedness, deceitfulness, crookedness, divisiveness vss. 12-14
* sudden chaos, judgment, collapse, destruction vs. 15
* seven things God hates vss. 16-19
Proverbs 6:9-19
9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.
12 A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.
13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
14 Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.
15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

JUDGEMENT FALLS SUDDENLY, WITHOUT REPRIEVE
Proverbs 29:1-4
1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
3 Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father: but he that keepeth company with harlots spendeth his substance.
4 The king by judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it.

YET TO COME, DON'T BE CAUGHT
* AntiChrist is coming after the rapture vs. 7
* Rule of God haters is doomed vs. 8
* Dark powers will be manifested vs. 9
* God will allow wicked people to be deceived and caught up in the worst kinds of evil vs. 10
* God will send strong delusion on those who refuse to be saved vs. 11
* God will allow the desire for sin to ensnare sinners to the extent they will not only hate the truth but will embrace and love evil vs. 12

THOUGH THIS REFERS THE GOD RESISTORS OF THE TRIBULATION, THE PRINCIPLES ALSO APPLY TO GOD RESISTORS AT THE PRESENT TIME.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-12
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
