01/20/20 WHAT IS IN THE HEART, NOT THE WORDS

Reciting the Pledge of Allegiance does not assure loyalty.
A Christian can be a loyal American but refuse to say the Pledge.

An FB Friend said,
"seems (?) contradictory - explain your take on the second sentence - just curious"

I responded,
"Not sure where the confusion is. I will be glad to answer if you help me understand the question. By the way, this is not a quote from someone else. It is an original statement by me (as are a vast majority of my posts)."

I also added,
Though I am not sure where the confusion is, I have added a post which addresses this subject. It is the second post after this one. I only give the points (over 25) without documentation or comment, which I am able to add.
