#4 of 16 Areas of Believer's Perfection
PERFECT IN RIGHTEOUSNESS
God provides, calls and enables Christians to be PERFECT IN RIGHTEOUSNESS. This article is not a definition or explanation of righteousness. It is simply a statement that God calls and enables us to experience and exemplify perfect righteousness.

As with all perfections and graces in the Christian life, it is the redemptive work of God in us that makes Perfect Righteousness possible. Perfect Righteousness is the presence and practice of God's righteousness in us. This is a perfection of quality, not quantity. God's word is our authority. 

Perfect In Righteousness
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
DLG notes… Though the word, "perfect" is not used in this verse, it is impossible to be more perfectly cleansed from unrighteousness, than to be CLEANSED FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. 

1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
DLG notes… Though the word, "perfect" is not used in this verse, it is impossible to be any more righteous than GOD IS RIGHTEOUS.
