I preach and teach Biblical truths so even children understand, (though most "ministers" don't even know about).
PREACH THE WORD.
It is true that "most" ministers don't know about some Biblical truths because,
1- Many don't even believe the Bible,
2- Many don't know about certain Biblical truths because they have been misled to believe lies and reject truths. For example, relatively few have been taught the Biblical facts concerning heart purity (i.e. the fullness of the Holy Spirit, entire sanctification, holiness of heart, perfection of love), New Testament peacemaking, God's directives to government and the unique, absolute Headship of Christ over His Church
Sadly, many of the great Bible truths that pastors do believe are not being preached or taught in an effective manner. Parishioners are often ignorant of Biblical revelation, doctrinal importance. Not only are children not being taught the deeper things of God, the adults are fed spiritual pablum and often times the men are not taught at all. Men often do not attend Sunday Bible Classes or weekday Bible Studies.
This must be corrected if we want to raise up families in the truth and power of God.

"Praying through" means praying til you get ahold of God or God gets ahold of you. Few pray through.
I used my earlier post about THE POWER OF A SINGLE CHOICE, in a recent service. I referred to several of my Bible examples and asked folks (especially the children and youth) to tell me about the good choices and the bad choices connected with those Bible characters.
When we came to Jacob they stated that Jacob had wrestled with the "angel" (a Theophany, appearance of God) and correctly said it was good. I agreed and pointed out that God wants us to wrestle with Him in prayer (pray through).
God does not have to be convinced to do good or be loving. We wrestle because the adversary (the devil) is fighting against our prayers and we have to pray (fight) past the dark resistance. In order to lay hold of God we sometimes have to do battle with Satan. Even when we lay hold of God in prayer, we need to continue faithfully. We must put our sacrifice on the altar, but we must make sure that our sacrifice is not taken away by Satan.

A "strait" is a narrow passage (of water).
What if the gate to heaven is "strait" and the way is "narrow?"
GOD SAYS IT IS.

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Those who think they are going to heaven without narrowing down to Jesus are in for a big surprise.
