TOO BAD FOLKS DID NOT hear me and stand for Jesus 34 years ago. Here is a post I made two years ago, addressing our stand for freedom and the Lordship of Christ, and the negative responses or absence of response we got from the State and Christian leaders, such as law enforcement (in several states), Helms, Coble, Sizemore, Robertson, Kennedy, Falwell, Sekulow, Gibbs, as well as many more politicians, pastors and lawyers. It cost us our houses, cars, friends, families, reputations, and freedom.

Virtually nobody cared and no one stood with us. We did not bow, we did not bend, we did not compromise the Lordship of Jesus. They all cried, "Health and Safety" or "Zoning Laws," (as if those things cancelled out the authority of Jesus and the Bible).

MY POST FROM TWO YEARS AGO...

I have been accused of hiding since 1986 (among other things).
During that entire time you could have found me hiding...
FB for over 9 years;
Internet presence and activity 20+ years;
Television and Newspaper News,
in NC (Coast, Piedmont),
in Texas (Dallas, Fort Worth),
in Tennessee (Knoxville, Crossville);
Radio and Cable TV programing
in NC, in Texas.

I have had my name publicly displayed on church signs in North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, South Carolina.

I have been well known (and sometimes maligned) by police, Texas Rangers, Courts, State Government Agencies, Law firms, Nationally known political leaders, nationally known church leaders.

People have threatened to kidnap the children of my church.

People have planned to send "cult deprogrammers" to snatch adults and children from my 'CONTROL."

People have sent Law enforcement to rescue their "little girls," (who were actually grown and married women, one of which was a mother of three). Oh, and the accusers knew the facts.

Law Enforcement was actually alerted to raid our church and I was told I would be arrested and put in jail.

In another State, Law Enforcement was told to surveil me and my church because we were a dangerous cult (possibly making human sacrifices).

People have impersonated my mother and father, seeking "information" about me. (My mother had been dead for about 30 years).

There have been "Christian women" who have traveled from three separate States in order to go to court, bear false witness and destroy a family of three, because of their hatred for me and my ministry.

Some of these blasphemers and detractors have contacted my family, friends, former parishioners, lying about me, my church, my practices, my beliefs.

I have been called, Jim Jones, David Karesh, Muammar Gaddafi and falsely aligned with the Matamoros Ritualistic Killings of the late 1980s.

AND THIS IS JUST SOME OF SATAN'S ATTACK ON US.
I am just glad I was in hiding, because there is no telling what those lying blasphemers would have done if I had maintained a public presence.

And by the way, my beliefs, practices, affiliations, associations, locations have always been available.

I have not done anything that is contrary to Biblical practice or Historical Christianity or contrary to the Constitution of the United States of America or Biblical (New Testament) revelation.

I have never asked, coerced, forced anyone to be part of our ministry or to do anything that was contrary to their knowledge of the word of God or in conflict with their own personal convictions. In fact, I have actually sent people away from our ministry, in order for them to evaluate our ministry, their own beliefs and their associations with us.

I have warned people that being part of our ministry would probably unleash the hounds of hell on them, therefore I urged them to be very careful about their choices. (And, sure enough, the Denizens of the Dark have actually destroyed families that God had put together.)

When others have shown an interest in our ministry and I asked them what held them back, some of them quickly and clearly said that they believed we were Biblical and Christian, but they knew that going the way of the Bible will probably lead to jail or worse. People have told me that they were not willing to risk their "stuff" and lifestyle, because the cost was too great.

I tell you this, because we need to understand that Satan wants to destroy individual believers and entire churches. He uses deceit and intimidation to thwart the work of God. We have not been in hiding. In fact, I have boldly and unapologetically taken my stand for Jesus and His word and when threatened I have said, "Send your bad boys," and in affect, "Come and Take it."

I don't depend on the arm of flesh, or horses and chariots, or Caesar or the nationally known "heroes of the faith." I am just me, a simple follower of Christ, living by faith, trusting in the Sword of the Spirit and not the sword of steel. I believe in human government and I reject anarchy as well as Statism.

THE FOLLOWING WAS TAKEN from previous posts concerning the beginning of our journey.

It is a good idea to let the State make Christian ministry illegal because then there is room for religious diversity (NOT).

In the 1980s our church met in this building and provided FREE CHRISTIAN EDUCATION to the community. But of course, for every student enrolled in a private school (Christian or otherwise) the Public School loses thousands of dollars.

As a result our church came under State oppression (attack). After our Christian ministry was gone, the building was occupied by an Islamic Mosque, and Unitarians (which often move into building facilities left by Christians).

So, if you don't want a Bible preaching church near you, don't worry, there will be some group to step in and receive the blessing of the State as they lead your children away from Jesus Christ and Bible faith.

The Governor (a Republican) wanted to help but could not because of the way the State law was written. He did as much as he could do at the time and I appreciated him.

...We were denied help by four of the MOST influential Evangelical leaders in the nation (who actually stood with the false Christ, Sun Myung Moon), and a host of other pastors in our own area, as well as being abandoned by some of the leading, most well known "Christian" congressmen in the nation, along with the most famous Christian lawyer who defends against State oppression in the nation today (probably the world) and other Christian law offices across the country.

It isn't that our cause was unjust, but rather that it was too controversial and as I was told, "not winnable." At the very time we were being targeted by the State, there were other church groups in our vicinity, which were in violation of the SAME State codes, but they were not even approached by the State. In fact, County Officials, told us on TV news that some of the violations they were using to shut us down were not even applicable to our ministry, but they knew we were going to grow numerically. Even with this information, NO ONE STOOD WITH US.

This was in the mid 1980s. I preached and taught, and stood with other oppressed ministries. I addressed the very plague of sin that carpets our nation today. I was abandoned by friends, parishioners and family for doing and saying what had always been the norm in Christian ministry. But when oppression came, the fair weather sailors jumped ship.

The very truths I preached against have become the abominations that are flooding our nation today. FOLKS SHOULD HAVE LISTENED rather than run away. I want our nation to turn, but I think we have crossed the point of no return.

I am sorry that our nation (and our world) is rushing headlong to hell. But, it is not a shock for those who believe the Bible. However, the path we have traveled has prepared us to live in a Babylonian, Laodicean world. It takes more than yesterday's commitment to be faithful today. It takes more than the light from yesterday's saints to penetrate today's darkness. We either walk in God's light as we follow or we fall into darkness for not following. We better walk in today's light, in preparation for tomorrow's battles.

I wrote and posted this eight years ago. Still true, still relevant. I have added a few lines (***) concerning works and salvation, in order to make my point clearer.

WHAT IF YOU GET "LEFT BEHIND?" Let me mention three different responses to the those who will miss the Rapture of the Church.
1- Some writers are offering "Post Rapture" instructions and encouragement to those who reject Christ at this present time. They offer a FALSE HOPE, since those people will not get saved during the Tribulation.
2- Some writers are offering "Post Rapture" messages of salvation for those who have never heard the gospel prior to the Rapture, since it is possible for them to get saved during the Tribulation.
3- I (and probably others) offer "Pre-Rapture" advice to those who hear the gospel now, but have not surrendered to Christ's Lordship;

* R E P E N T, because, if you miss the Rapture, you don't get a another chance during the Tribulation.

* LET ME SAY, if you think it is difficult to be a Christ follower today, YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTH'N YET.

* BESIDES, if you reject Him now and are left behind, He will send you strong delusion, so that you will believe the lie you have loved, and you will not be saved.
NOW IS THE TIME TO GET SAVED.

AGAIN, CONCERNING THOSE WHO WILL BE LEFT BEHIND.

Actually, there will be many who are left behind because they never prepared to go in the Rapture.

* Some people think that faith without works will save them.

*** DLG 2020 note... (The Bible clearly teaches that we are not saved by our works, but it also clearly teaches that faith without works is dead. We will have good works because salvation by grace through faith actually works and does good works. In fact we not only keep His commandments, we do that which is well pleasing in His sight.)

* If our faith does not work, it will not save us from sin in this present evil world or from God's wrath in the world to come. In fact, if they (we) do not EXPERIENCE the purifying grace of God in this world, they (we) will never spend eternity with God. Consider the verses ... below. Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord.

BE RAPTURE READY...
I know that some of these points overlap. However, I titled the points according to the verse(s) they introduce. The fact that they overlap indicates the importance of knowing these truths.

* ONLY THOSE WHO ARE SPIRITUALLY PURE pure will be Rapture Ready.

2 Corinthians 11:2
(2) For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

* ONLY THOSE WHO ARE sanctified, cleansed, spotless, holy and without wrinkle or blemish will be Rapture Ready.

Ephesians 5:25-27
(25) ... Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
(26) That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
(27) That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

* ONLY THOSE WHO ARE HOLY, unblameable and unreproveable in His sight will be Rapture Ready. (Remember, God sees us as we are.)

Colossians 1:21-23
(21) And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
(22) In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
(23) If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

* ONLY THOSE WHO ARE SANCTIFIED ENTIRELY AND THOSE whose spirit and soul and body is preserved blameless unto His coming will be Rapture Ready.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
(23) And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(24) Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

* Only those who are following holiness will be Rapture Ready.

* ONLY THOSE WHO ARE SPOTLESS and blemeless will be Rapture Ready.

(14) Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

* ONLY THOSE WHO ARE PURE, even as He is pure will be Rapture Ready.

1 John 3:2-3
(2) Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
(3) And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

* ONLY THOSE WHO ARE UNBLEMISHED (faultless) will be Rapture Ready.

Jude 1:24
(24) Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

* ONLY THOSE WHO ARE PRESENTLY CHILDREN OF GOD BY ACTIVE FAITH will be Rapture Ready. If your salvation is not experiential, your salvation is not actual. Faith that does not conform you to the image of Jesus in this present world is not saving faith, it is presumption.

Western "Christianity" has accepted and promoted spiritual darkness for so long it will never turn to Biblical truth.

God spoke to the worldly, backslidden end times Church (as depicted in the Laodicean Church of Revelation 3:14-22).

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

DLG note... Christ (God) still calls and seeks entry to our lives, but it is more of a personal, individual call than a broad, social invitation as in the first century Church and the more recent Western churches.

The Laodicean Church will not turn from its worldly ways. It will require individuals to openly repent and confess Christ, in a wicked and hostile social and religious arena.

A, I don't know what Old Testament passage you are citing. In fact, I don't know of any passage in the Bible that indicates that the rapture is not imminent or that the return of Christ to set up His Millennial Rule cannot happen for another 300 years. Of course I understand the Scripture from a pre-Tribulational Rapture perspective and a Physical Return of Christ to set up a Literal Thousand Year Reign. Then again, I accept the literal teaching of the Bible concerning the end times, rather than a symbolic view.

I don't know when the Rapture or Return will happen, but the world is in much worse condition than it was 50 years ago, 50 days ago. God put America here to be a tool for His Church to proclaim His truth and reach the lost, but now America is constantly and continuously moving away from God and His word, further and faster than any time in our history. Basically, as Europe has gone, the UK has gone, and as the UK has gone, the USA has gone. The demise, the corruption of the west has been obvious and the message of a rotting world is clear. It will not save itself and the "Church" at the end of this period of human history will be like the Church of Laodicea in the book of Revelation.

Obviously God can do anything He wants to do, but I believe Jesus told us that we can read the signs of the times. I don't see another AMERICA on the horizon, but I do understand RED SKY IN THE MORNING and RED SKY AT NIGHT.

My belief system is in the word. I don't let the ebb and flow of human teaching and popular teachers lift or float my boat. I especially do not follow modern voices or movements because Jesus warned us that false Christ and false teachers would come in the last days. I stay in His word, not in modern ministers and ministries.

J, I am not familiar with Leanne Payne, therefore I will look into her teachings. However, I did a quick search and found that she had a theological mixture, which had connections with some good Christian teachers as well as New Age Mysticism (inner Healing movement) and Humanistic Psychology. In my quick search I did not find her Statement of Faith. This, along with the fact that God's primary plan is to use men in the teaching ministry to other men, causes me to not base my beliefs on female "ministers."

Which brings me back to my original position. We need to know the word of God, believe the word of God, teach the word of God and live the word of God. Our nation has been rejecting and attacking the word of God for so long that I don't believe it will turn to God. However, God still calls and enables people to turn and follow Him, though it is on a smaller scale.

J, I did not say she was New Age, but rather she had New Age influence in her background. I also said she had Humanistic Psychology in her background. Don't forget, all Psychology, aside from Biblical counsel, is Humanistic.
When I pointed out that I could not find her Statement of Faith, I was not referring to the Historic Confessions of the Church. I was referring to her own statement of faith. We all have a faith position. The Historic Confessions were designed to declare the Church's official Biblical concerning orthodox beliefs about the Tri-unity of God or the nature and Person of the Holy Spirit and other doctrines. But our own personal and ministry Statement of Faith is an open confession of our beliefs, which we make known to others so that they will see if we are in agreement with the word of God.

I did not say she had no Statement of Faith, but rather that I did not find one she posted. When I am considering the Biblical soundness of anyone I at least expect them to have a clear and open confession concerning basic beliefs. Statements of Faith do not declare our entire belief system, but with the wild and varied beliefs on the scene we should make our doctrines clear to others.

I do appreciate her Wheaton training and her Biblical position understanding, but I still don't know how her other training influenced her thinking and beliefs.

Being influenced by Dr. Frank Lake is not a great recommendation. I can't tell you how many people I have had to help after they came under the Regressive Therapy movement, which claimed to take people back to the birth canal, in order to experience inner healing. This neo Christian view of repentance and renewal eventually led psychologists into delivering patients through "past life regression" and "rebirthing," which included "visualization" of their birth and sometimes included a reenactment of "delivered" by counselors, through the "birth canal" (actually a pool of water). These people would regress to their birth date or earlier and remember events and experiences. These actions are totally outside of the Christian realm.

I am not saying that Payne did all of this. I am pointing out that she was close to beliefs and practices outside of the Christian realm. I always consider such influences when I look at the ministry or life of a "Christian" leader.
I am glad you were helped by things you learned. Unhappily millions of people learn "helpful" things which end up robbing them of Biblical truth.
