01/07/20 LIES MATTER

Believing lies about someone is more convenient than finding out the truth.
Believing those lies is less complicated socially.

WHATEVER OTHERS DO, WE SHOULD LIVE BY THESE TRUTHS

Exodus 20:16
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Exodus 23:6-7
6 Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.
7 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.

Psalms 101:5-7
5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.
7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

Proverbs 10:17-18
17 He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.
18 He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.
