02/22/20 CHILDREN'S MTG UPDATE

* THIS IS REPORT ON LAST NIGHT (Children's meeting)

Great time with TNHM children's age group last night (about 2 hours).
* Ate together.
* Bible Books Lesson

Name... Bible, Holy Bible
Definition... Book (Bible is a group or library of books).
Composition... 66 books. 2 main sections (Old written before Jesus was born. New written after Jesus was born). Old Testament has 39 books; New Testament has 27 books.
Scope... Old Testament covers 4,000 years of history; New Testament 90 years of history (not counting the prophecies of the Book of Revelation). Old Testament has more than 3 times as many words as the New Testament but Old Testament covers about 40 times more history than New Testament.

We also talked about Adam's sin; duration and limit of human life expectancy (decreasing from time of Adam); reason for death (Adam's sin); provision for eternal life (Jesus died and rose again).

* Played Table Tennis
* Snack time.

We had a great time.
