02/22/20 PRAYERS ARE IMPORTANT

Praying that I will be faithful every microsecond does not require others to pray every microsecond that I be faithful.

I did not see this post until this morning. I actually wrote this yesterday, but because I did not have time to write my comment, I just left it on my FB screen.

COMMENT
It is important to pray for one another. Sometimes we must keep a more focused, personal prayer vigil for them. But we are not neglecting our prayers for folks if we don't pray 24/7. God keeps vigil and He is aware of our our prayers for others.

If we pray for other people to be faithful, and they fail, it is not because we failed to pray, but because they failed to obey God. Yes, we must do more than pray, but this post addresses the issue of praying for other people to be faithful.

Pray for one another, but remember, it is still their responsibility to be faithful. Take time to pray for them. When they come to your mind, pray for them.
