03/04/20 GOD WANTS US TO COMPLETELY SURRENDER

If your whole inner man (Reason, Desire, Emotions, Conscience and Will) is not yielded to Christ, you are not saved.

The Human Nature is comprised of Body, Soul and Spirit.

Those who come to Christ must Divine conditions, such as Believe, Repent, Confess, Follow Fully.
God wants us to give our entire life, our entire inner man, the soul, to Him.
The Soul is comprised of Reason, Desire, Emotions, Conscience and Will (as seen in Biblical verses, which refer to the activities of the soul (heart, mind).
Remember, Jesus said, if any man would be His disciple he must deny himself, take up his cross and follow Jesus.

Luke 9:23-24
23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

Denial of self requires us to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. This includes the various parts that comprise the soul (the inner man, the heart, the mind, such as Reason, Desire, Emotions, Conscience and Will.

The Holy Spirit tells us through Jesus and other N.T. passages that if we love Him we will keep His commandments (as a response to salvation, not as a means of acquiring salvation) and Jesus told us what the two most important commandments are,
"37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."
Matthew 22:37-40

The love that fills us is the love of God. We will love Him with ALL OUR HEART, AND WITH ALL OUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL OUR MIND, AND LOVING OUR NEIGHBOR AS OURSELVES.

We submit to this all encompassing love, which fills our Reason, Desire, Emotions, Conscience and Will.

If you are holding back any of this from God, you are not receiving salvation.
