03/15/20 FIRST TNHM ONLINE MEETING
Today we held our 1st TNH Online Meeting (FB LIVE). It was not to avoid gathering as a church, but to initiate a new format for future shut-in ministries, distance outreach and ministry during times of emergency. I want to have interactive participation (praying, testifying, singing, exhortation) as well as Bible teaching and preaching.
Today the participation of the congregation was done through texting. I am hoping to have audio/video participation (as with SKYPE or ZOOM). We had a good service today, but we are hoping to improve it and make it available to other folks who are not yet part of our local body.
Yes, we are planning on a local presence in our Ministry Center, but we recognize that our Ministry Center is only a tool of our people, our church.
Today I taught from my desktop in my house. Brother Wade was visiting this weekend. Martha, Wade and I are seen in the screenshot below. TNH folks were participating through Laptops and Handheld devices, in their homes (Atlantic, Seagate, Beaufort and Morehead).
