05/06/20 ADMONITION TO CIVILITY

Galatians 5:14-16 KJV
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

When we love and when we walk in the Spirit, we will not devour one another.

I have been thinking about the problem of dissension and division in the church because of the COVID-19 issue (of all the stupid reasons for division), and remembering this passage. When i went to the computer this morning i looked up the passage in order to share it with you. Later i saw a meme calling masks, muzzles. Love and walking in the Spirit is the kind of muzzle Christians should be wearing.
