05/06/20 UNITY, FREEDOM, LOVE

In essentials, unity.
In non-essentials, freedom.
IN ALL THINGS, LOVE.
This is where humility and love takes over.

PASSAGES TO CONSIDER

(This primarily addresses liberty from the Jewish law. However, the principle applies to less substantial reasons for division.)
1 Corinthians 8:9 KJV
9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

(Just because we can does not mean that we should.)
Galatians 5:13-15 KJV
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

(Unless it is in conflict with God's rule, do it.)
1 Peter 2:13-16 KJV
13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
