11/10/20 BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU COMMIT TO

I have scores (maybe hundreds) of FB articles since 2009 that address illegitimate "government," regardless of Administrations. These articles also include God's revelation for Human Government in the Holy Bible.

I have denounced human policies and actions, which are contrary to God's revelation. All political groups have weaknesses and even corruption. This does not negate God's rule through Human Government.

Some "governments" are more aligned with God's will and others are actually openly opposed to God's plan for Human Government, while some are totally contrary to God's will.

We will not have a perfect Government until King Jesus returns and sets up His kingdom. However, we are all under legitimate authority. God's directive to Christians who are being being ordered to disobey basic Biblical standards by the "government" is to OBEY GOD RATHER THAN MEN. This is the standard I have proclaimed under every Administration for the last 50 years.

While there is corruption in every Administration, some Administrations are corrupt to the core and are the enemy of the people as well as the admitted enemy of God. Christians are told to obey God. We are not told to raise the sword of steel. We are not to become anarchists. Our model for Christian behavior under pagan governments is found in the New Testament.

God is capable of stopping runaway political groups, if He chooses to stop them. God's plan is bigger than a four year Administration or even a thousand year dynasty. God is in control of minutia just as He is the transcendent. Though God is not the author of confusion, He uses darkness and evil for His ultimate purpose.

This is why we should live for Him, for eternity rather than for self, party or the moment. Our war is not with flesh and blood but with spiritual powers. Our weapons are not carnal, but spiritual.

I hope for days of freedom ahead, but if the curtain is about to fall, it is is not a shock to God and it should not be a cause of despair for us.
