11/24/20 DON'T BE CAVALIER

When people say, "God is still in charge, there is nothing to worry about," that is true for the Christian, but it is not true for your lost loved ones, your lost friends, your lost community, the lost world.

Yes God is in charge and He is going to send judgment on those who are held captive by their own sins. They are going to suffer the worlds outpouring of evil, they are going to be blinded by Satan, they are going to believe a lie and be separated from God forever.Don't be so cavalier, so shallow, so insensitive, so blind to the rest of the truth. The Bible says that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Remember, the GOOD NEWS is not good news to the eternally lost person.
God's response to a lost, shackled, tortured, blind world was not to sit back and nonchalantly shrug it off. God the Father so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son; Jesus so love the world that He came to seek and to save the lost; the Holy Spirit loved so much that He came to convict and convince the lost that they needed to call on, trust in and follow Jesus.

Yes, God is in charge, but it is not a call to sit back and take it easy. It is a call to go, sacrifice, stand, suffer and call the lost to repentance, warning them that God's judgment will come after this life.

I am comforted by the reality that God is in charge, but I am not lulled to sleep or dead to the reality that things are bad, things are going to get worse and the world is lost.
