11/21/20 A SAD COMPETITION

11/21/20 A SAD COMPETITION

Competing for Empty Cloud Award:
1- "Christians" not wielding Sword of Spirit against sin,
2- Second Amendment folks who think the 2nd Amendment is about hunting and self defense from street thugs, as they role over for State rape.

Yes, I support the 2A (Second Amendment).
Yes, I support hunting.
Yes, I support self defense.

BUT NO... the 2nd Amendment is not about hunting or self defense from personal attacks from bad guys.
AND NO, I AM NOT ADVOCATING physical violence.

I am pointing out the hypocrisy of those who boast in the Bible and boast in the 2nd Amendment but then choose to cower away when under attack.

Yes, I believe the State has the God given duty to bear the "sword" (power and authority), in order to PROTECT the righteous and PUNISH the wicked through law enforcement and military.

My weapon of choice is The Holy Bible. I don't cower in the face of evil power. I choose to remain faithful to Christ and His word.

Ephesians 6:10-12
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Ephesians 6:13-18
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

2 Corinthians 10:3-5
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

John 18:36
36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence
