11/06/20 BE AWAKE SPIRITUALLY

The true WOKE movement is turning from Satan to Jesus, from sin to righteousness, from death to life, from darkness to light.

VERSES...
Awake from sin to salvation;
Awake to righteousness and sin not;
Awake from death to life, darkness to light.

READ AND BELIEVE AND HEED THE BOOK

Romans 13:10-14
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

OUR love fulfills the law.
WE ARE to awake from sleep (unawareness)
WE ARE to cast off the unfruitful works of darkness.
WE ARE told to put on the armor of light.
WE ARE to walk honestly, not in upheaval, drunkenness, sensual pleasure, division, evil desire.
WE ARE to put on the Lord Jesus Christ.
WE ARE to make no provision for the flesh.
WE ARE TO NOT fulfill the lust of the flesh.

1 Corinthians 15:33-34
33 Be not deceived: evil communications (bad company) corrupt(s) good manners (morals).
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

The Greek context and words indicate the associations we have also have an impact on our words and behavior.
WE ARE to awake to RIGHTEOUSNESS.
WE ARE to SIN NOT. It does not say sin less often or less offensively, it says to SIN NOT.

Ephesians 5:11-21
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Do not be aligned with wicked works of evil.
Reprove evil works of darkness.
Awake from your stupor.
Awake from your spiritual death AND CHRIST will give you light.
Walk wisely, carefully, not as fools.
