Doctrines of the Incarnation, Trinity, Atonement, End Times, Election are revealed in the Bible, not in man-made doctrinal papers.
Do not allow any man or organization or any Confession, Council, Conference, Convention to determine your beliefs.
We all need help with Biblical study and understanding, but God's word must be the foundation and the final authority, which explains our beliefs and throws light on man's commentary, rather than man's commentary throwing light on God's word and explaining our beliefs.
