God provides a guard for our heart (thoughts) and mouth (words) and He enables us to bring every thought captive to Christ.
TRY IT.

GOD WANTS TO RULE OUR HEART (our condition) AND OUR MOUTH (our communication, whether written or spoken). 

Psalms 19:14
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalms 139:23-24
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
